The Integrated Lactation Private Coaching

Lactation support — in every form your feeding takes.

Breastfeeding, pumping, combo feeding, weaning a baby or toddler — meeting you exactly where you are.

Some feeding situations need more than a quick consultation. They need someone who takes the time to understand the whole picture — how this little one came into your life, what feeding has actually been like, what's working and what isn't, and what your family really needs right now. That's where we begin. Three or six sessions depending on the depth we will need.

Both parents welcome.

A plan to follow — made specifically with and for you.

Our work together moves through 5 integrated levels

because lasting change doesn't come from information alone. Our sessions move through five integrated levels — not as a curriculum, but as a conversation that keeps deepening. Tailored entirely to your family, your little one, your feeding situation in all its complexity.

I'll be with you every step of the way — building your understanding, your confidence, and a plan that actually fits your life.

So you don't just learn, you understand, feel, and know how to act.

Understanding

The "why" behind feeding. You'll learn what's really going on — based on biology, infant development, milk supply, latch mechanics, and how feeding actually works. No guesswork, no myths.

Emotional

The emotional side of feeding, weaning, and early parenthood. Understanding your little one's emotional needs — and your own — creates a foundation of trust and connection. Feeding decisions carry weight; you don't have to carry that weight alone.

Body & Regulation

Practical body-based tools to help you stay regulated — so you can be present with your little one through latch, pumping, mixed feeding, or weaning. Calm doesn't start with a technique. It starts with you.

Perspective

The bigger picture. Stepping back to see your feeding journey within the context of development, growth, and real life — so you can trust the process, whatever shape your feeding takes.

Practical Steps

Clear, doable guidance for your specific situation. Latch adjustments, pumping schedules, supply adaptations , feeding rhythms, weaning step by step — what to do, when, and how. Grounded in everything you've understood, felt, and experienced.

  • This is for you if:

    You've tried things.

    You've read things.

Maybe you've had advice that didn't sit right, or that simply didn't work for you and your little one.

Your feeding situation feels layered — like there's more going on than just one issue.

Maybe it's both latch and supply.
Maybe you're combo feeding and unsure how to balance it.
Maybe weaning is tangled up with sleep, boundaries, or your own feelings about this chapter ending.

You're ready for someone to look at the whole picture with you.

    How we work together

We start with your story — how this little one came to you, what feeding has looked like so far, what's working, what's hurting, what's confusing.

Nothing is background information. Everything matters.
From there we move into understanding — what's actually happening biologically, developmentally, mechanically — and then into the practical: positioning, latch, supply, pumping rhythm, mixed feeding logistics, weaning step by step. Whatever your situation calls for.
Throughout the work, you have WhatsApp support Monday to Friday, written recaps after every session, and a personalized plan in your hands as soon as we have enough of the picture to build one.
The final session is a proper ending — a full written summary, from where you started to where you are now, and a clear sense of how to find your footing again if something shifts later.

Ready to find out if this is the right fit?

The introductory call is 40 minutes, completely free, and there's no pressure to commit. It's a chance for both of us to get a sense of whether working together makes sense — and what that might look like for you and your little one.

    What you‘ll learn

    Clarity

A plan that's yours — not a method lifted from a book or a one-size-fits-all protocol. Together we build something designed around your little one, your body, your life, and the situation you're actually in. We adjust as we go, because feeding rarely follows a script.

    Trust & Ease

Someone in your corner. You're not figuring this out alone anymore. Between sessions, WhatsApp keeps us connected. After every call, a written recap lands in your inbox.

    Lasting Change

Confidence that travels with you. What we build together doesn't expire. It carries you through new stages — returning to work, growth spurts, illness, weaning when the time comes — long after our work is done.

    FAQ

How do I know if I need three sessions or six?

You don't have to know — that's what the introductory call is for. Some feeding situations are contained and benefit from focused, shorter work: a latch issue, a clear pumping question, a weaning plan that just needs a steady hand. Other situations are layered — supply issues woven through return-to-work logistics, weaning tangled up with sleep, complicated histories that need real space. We figure out which container fits on the call, together.

Breastfeeding from the very beginning, exclusive pumping, combo feeding, return-to-work logistics, low or oversupply, latch and positioning, mastitis and engorgement, slow weight gain, mixed feeding rhythms, weaning a baby, weaning a toddler — and the emotional layers that come with all of it. If feeding is part of your life and something about it isn't sitting right, you're in the right place.

From pregnancy through three years. Prenatal preparation before baby arrives, early breastfeeding, the first weeks at home, returning to work, the natural arc of feeding through the first year, and weaning at any stage — including weaning toddlers, which is its own kind of work and one I particularly enjoy supporting.

Yes, always welcome. With feeding work, it's often just you and me — and that's completely normal, because the day-to-day reality of feeding tends to live with one parent. But if your partner wants to be there, especially for early sessions where we look at the bigger picture, they're warmly invited. Same for a grandmother, a doula, or whoever is part of your support system.

Neither. My job is to help you understand what's actually happening, what your real options are, and what fits your life and your family. Some mothers come wanting to keep breastfeeding, and we work on making it sustainable. Others come wanting to stop, and we work on weaning gently. Both are right, depending on the mother and the situation.

Those are exactly the situations where this kind of work helps most. Complicated feeding histories deserve more than a fifteen-minute consultation and a printout. The whole approach is built for the layered cases — bringing biology, emotion, your real circumstances, and practical tools together into one conversation that meets you where you actually are.

    What Parents say

    When you're ready, I'm here.

    About me

I'm Heidi — Austrian-American, pediatric nurse, IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) since 2009, and sleep consultant

For more than a decade I worked in pediatric nursing and family consulting, including seven years on the integrated postpartum ward in Hallein and three years assisting Dr. Andre Golser as the lactation, feeding, and sleep consulting contact.

For the past eight years I've accompanied international families in private households from birth through the early years.

I've worked with feeding in every form it takes — early breastfeeding, low supply and oversupply, latch challenges, exclusive pumping, mixed feeding, weaning a baby, weaning a toddler. The layered cases, the complicated histories, the situations that don't fit neat categories — that's the work I love most.

“Heidi has made all the difference during my initiation to fatherhood. Every time my wife and I are on the brink of uncertainty, Heidi is the first person we reach out to. She always takes time to listen, reassure us, and provide great options based on her amazing knowledge and lifetime of experience. With all the conflicting information and different approaches out there, it can be very difficult for new parents to untangle it all. Heidi has been exceptional in helping us find the right path in our new family’s journey.”

“Our little one arrived early and we didn’t feel ready to leave hospital without support. That’s when we found Heidi, who turned out to be a godsend. In those first few days at home we were feeling very vulnerable, and her expertise and kindness was just what we needed. It is obvious that she has a deep-rooted love and interest for babies and their upbringing. We felt safe to ask all the stupid questions.”

“My son Laurenz and I came to Heidi for sleep support. He’s sleeping so much better now, and I feel much more relaxed and clear when it comes to sleep. I felt so well looked after. Above all, your incredibly warm and appreciative way really did me good. Thank you for the extra dose of calm you gave me around sleep — and for the warmhearted support.”

    Birgit & Laurenz

“In my first conversation with Heidi, I told her my story and was immediately overwhelmed by my own feelings. And that’s exactly what helped — she gave me back the view of the bigger picture that I had lost. I was stuck in my own hamster wheel and had forgotten to stop and just breathe. Of course children sense when their mother is stressed or overwhelmed, and they mirror it back. The change in my little one was simply wonderful — from daily crying and tears to a smile. Heidi gave me a new perspective that I can use not just with my family, but in many situations in life.”

    Sabrina Gruber,

    mother of two boys

“Heidi simply managed, with her incredibly positive nature and her broad knowledge, to help our daughter sleep through the night — and nap for 1–2 hours during the day again. We all feel so much better. She also supported us with weaning, which we probably never would have managed so well on our own. We can warmly recommend Heidi to any family.”
